LSA spotlights Léa Nature and Botanic: 3D merchandising and AI

3D Merchandising and AI: Léa Nature and Botanic in the spotlight in LSA

LSA Commerce & Consommation puts two of our customers, Léa Nature and Botanic, in the spotlight. Two use cases showing how 3D and AI address today's merchandising challenges, from offer clarity to in-store planogram compliance.

Léa Nature multi-aisle 3D planogram

We are very proud to see our customers Léa Nature and Botanic featured in LSA Commerce & Consommation (article in French). Many thanks to the editorial team for this piece, which highlights today's merchandising challenges and how Retail VR addresses them with 3D and AI.

Two use cases illustrate this transformation in the field: a brand present across several aisles, and a retailer with very specific store fixtures.

Léa Nature: showcasing a multi-aisle journey

Present in food as well as in organic hygiene and cosmetics, Léa Nature needed to clarify its offer. The challenge: illustrating complete universes for retailers, with their corners, POS materials and promotional islands.

Our answer: from 2D to 3D, automatically

We responded with a patented solution in which AI automatically turns 2D product visuals into 3D models. These models are then placed in virtual stores, so the retailer sees the proposal exactly as it will appear on shelf.

Next step: AI-driven product placement

What comes next is already in preparation: automated product placement by AI. The goal is to cut planogram production time by 80%.

Botanic: securing execution on specific fixtures

Botanic 3D planogram on wooden fixtures

Botanic faces strong constraints: wooden fixtures and unusual dimensions. In this context, the visual clarity of concepts is essential so that store teams know exactly what to set up, and where.

Thanks to 3D plans faithful to their fixtures, the rate at which planograms are applied in store rose from 30-40% to 70%.

What these two cases show

  • Make the offer readable: 3D shows complete universes instead of describing them on a plan.
  • Match store reality: plans faithful to the fixtures secure execution in the field.
  • Save time: AI automates the production of 3D models, and tomorrow product placement.

Conclusion

Wine Fair Merchandising: Should Headquarters Plan the Aisle Down to the SKU?
Every fall, the French 'Foire aux Vins' wine fairs held by supermarkets transform the wine aisle in just a few days. Between local SKUs, fast-shrinking stock and in-store team expertise, how far should headquarters go in guiding shelf placement? We take stock, look at the arrival of alcohol-free wines, and explore what AI and 3D simulation can bring to the table.
